Abstract Landscape Series
This series of paintings came from a place where I wanted to explore a new direction. I wanted to explore what it would be like to not plan or research subject matter but instead just simply choose what color and what size canvas I wanted to use. Once I had that in place I sat in front of my easel and went into a meditative state and began painting. I just let things appear as they did on the canvas. And below is the result of this experiment.
