The Fill’er Up Sketchbook Challenge
This year I was excited to be participating in ARTiculations Fill’er Up Sketchbook Challenge.  The challenge was to fill up a sketchbook over the course of May 2021.  I had decided to use a square sketchbook and see where it would lead me.  I had no clue what I was going to fill the pages with, all I knew at the start was that I wanted to explore different mediums and see what naturally inspired me and also to be free with how I was expressing myself.  So one thing that became a constant throughout the sketchbook was colour swatching! Man do I love to colour swatch!!!  I never thought to do swatching before.  But one of the many artists I follow on YouTube colour swatches and I found watching her was so relaxing and you get to see what your mediums look like on paper!!!! So here are the different mediums I worked with throughout the sketchbook. :)

Well this year has definitely been a year full of reflection and pushing the boundaries on how I create as an artist.  Below is an example of what I've been up to lately.  This painting was reimagined as I felt it was time for a makeover.  It's still in the makeover phase.  Still thinking on what's next for these paintings.  Stay tuned to see what happens next,
